You Are Sent
I attended a Mission.
because I was called
to go there and listen
to God’s word and all.
Reflecting on messages
I now share with you
the value of the Mass
from a practical view.
I am nurtured and blessed
by coming together
and joining as one
with all of God’s brethern.
Our backgrounds are varied
and our stories are too.
Understanding each other
is God’s way to choose.
I’ve learned from the word
God’s message of love
that needs to be shared
‘til we’re all aware of
the transforming power
that is yours and is mine
by receiving Jesus Christ
with open hearts and minds.
All things are possible
where God is concerned.
He uses our brokeness
believe me, I’ve learned.
So you who are fed
by the Bread of Christ...
Go, you are sent.
Show the world His light.
