Sometimes life brings us trials
We can hardly understand.
Though we know God is with us
And we are held in His hands
The burdens grow so heavy
Our minds get lost in the fog
As we do our best to let go
And place all our cares with God.
We hand them over to Him
And then take them back again
Growing weary from the weight
Of unpredictable pain.

It's part of human nature
To think we have to be strong
Even though Jesus tells us
"Come to me" where you belong.

So I pray for blessings now
And each moment night and day
That you will feel God's presence
In a truly sacred way,
That you will share perfect peace
As a gift of God's great love
For God is omnipresent
Always reminding us of
His peace that far surpasses
What we really understand
A peace He offers to all
Who place themselves in His hands.
