I come to You Lord
with a listening ear
confident Lord
that you are here,
ready and waiting
for my visit with You
as I sit in the silence
here in this room.
Thank You for leading me
to this quiet place
where I am blessed
by Your loving grace
and granted assurance
that in coming to You
You give me strength
for trials I go through.
I thank You for blessings
that come my way
in the opportune time
we share each day.
I thank You now Lord
for the gift of Your peace
in this precious moment
renewing me, so tenderly.
