Life is Happening

Miles from me
A child was born today
A baby girl
With dark hair
And dark eyes
A baby girl that's bright
And beautiful
In her mother's eyes
And held as tenderly
In our hearts
As she is while feeding
At her mother's breast
A baby girl
Loved by so many people
She doesn't really know
A baby girl
We hope to bless
With our presence
As life continues
To happen.
