Having lived in the rural community of...EAST BAY...and shared the blessings of Cape Breton's beauty since I was a child, I have grown to love the people and my surroundings. Cape Breton Is Beautiful

When you travel throughout
Cape Breton Isle
you'll experience beauty
to make your heart smile.
The mountains and valleys
seasides and glens
lead many travellers
to come back again.
The birch and the maple,
the oak and the ash
dress our fair island
with natural class;
joined by the helmock
and towering pines
the home of bald eagles
for such a long time.
Cape Breton is beautiful
there's no doubt
whether you're travelling
by road or by boat,
whatever the season
there's much to be seen
so come for a visit,
make it part of your dreams.
