Then I thought of days I had doubted
and failed to understand.
How could it be You called to me
from Your far off distant land?
Then You led me on
to lands unknown
and persuaded me please,
make this your home.
I tossed and turned and prayed wishfully,
but thought, "Does He really care?"
Though I knew in my heart He was waiting,
to save me from despair.
I prayed, "Oh Lord, I love You
and want only to do Your will."
Then I felt in my heart His presence
and a peace that is with me still.
So when God comes to you and calls you
from that far off distant land,
do as He asks and place yourself
in His able and loving hands.
Yes, God in His wisdom loves you
and knows just what you should do,
He has carefully chosen a unique path
for each image of Himself that He drew.

What an interesting journey of love
I have traveled since writing this poem
over twelve years ago. . .
when I was hardly able to walk.
It seemed time to share this poem today,
with the threat of terrorism spreading
and the beginning of another war (October 7, 2001).
Many people throughout the world are searching
and many people are beginning to recognize
that God lives within us and is calling us
to personal peace, so that we might help promote
peace throughout the world. May God bless you
wherever you are in your journey of life
at this enlightening time in history.
