In Your Holy Name Dear Jesus, I humbly pray!
Heavenly Father, I trust that You stand by our family,
Lord Jesus, shower Your mercy on those for whom I now pray.

My Reflections...
As this lenten Journey progresses
I pray dear Lord that you will not let me fail You
as Pontius Pilate did so long ago,
rather help me see with eyes of compassion
as You Lord see all people.

Lord Jesus You accepted the cross
for love of us, that we may find new life
and healing of our deepest wounds through You.
Lord Jesus, help us to accept our crosses in life
for love of You and the Glory of Our Heavenly Father
and to help lead others to do the same.

Lord Jesus, I think of You falling for the first time
on your road to Calvary and I wonder if I had been with you
on that journey, would I have run away in fear
or would I have tried to reach out and help you up.
Lord Jesus, here and now you give me the opportunity to
reach out and help others in their suffering.
Please help me to reach out with love to share
the new life and strength you have given me on my journey.
Heavenly Father, I trust You walk with me on my journey,
as You always walked with Your loving Son Jesus.

Lord Jesus, I thank You for leading me to recognize
the importance of Your mother Mary's love for You.
May I follow her example of love in my life
as a mother to our children and as a grandmother to Max.
helping us grow in love and faith.

Lord Jesus, You needed help to carry the cross
on the road to Calvary and Simon was urged to help You.
Please remind me always to keep an open heart
to lovingly offer a helping hand
when those around me are suffering. Many friends
and loved ones are carrying the cross of cancer
or multiple sclerosis. I lift their burdens to You Lord
as I pray for their healing in body, mind and spirit.
I thank You for the healing I continue to experience
in my life and for the knowledge to bring my crosses to You.
May Our Father in heaven bless all those we love
who are suffering today in any way. In Your holy name
dear Jesus I pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus, Veronica set us an example
of love and service when she wiped Your face.
Help me to see Your face
in the face of people I meet on my journey here.
Keep my heart always open to the Spirit of compassion
such as Veronica shared with You on the road to Calvary.

you took time to speak to the women who walked the path
of suffering with You. Help me Lord Jesus, to set aside
my own trials and reach out in love to others who suffer.

Lord Jesus, when You fell the third time
weakness did not overcome You. Help me when I am weak
to find new strength in You.
Bless my friends and family members
who are weak and suffering Lord Jesus. Grant them new life
and strength through You, I humbly pray in Your holy name.

Lord Jesus, You were stripped of Your garments
showing no respect for You as a person,
then You were cruelly nailed to the cross.
The sign of the cross has become
a sign of love to the world.
Keep me always mindful of Your great love for me
and for all people I humbly pray.

Dear Jesus, You hung on the cross in great agony,
so you know the agony of those who suffer
with serious illness and pain.
Bless these people dear Jesus
and help them to trust that You
can lesson their burdens.
Comfort all who mourn today,
especially friends for whom I now pray.

Lord Jesus, when I think of you being taken down from the
cross
and laid in the tomb, I think of friends and loved ones
who have died and I am reminded of the shortness of life here.
Keep me always mindful of the blessings of eternal life
and grant me peace in Your eternal gift of love.
