HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
To Mothers Everywhere!
Those Who Mother
In a world of those who mother,
Mother Teresa surely stands
overflowing in compassion
with love pouring from her hands.
If only we could emulate
a shadow of her faith
we'd help enrich the world
in our own little way.
For like the Blessed Mother
she accepted that her life
would be poured out for others
leading them towards Love's Light.
So as I think of mothers
on this Mother's day
I give thanks for all people
who mother others on life's way,
for my Mother, and my daughters
and for my daughter-in-law,
for my sisters, aunts and mentors
who've accepted all my flaws,
for my nieces and my friends
and all who've touched my life
helping me to grow in love
as a mother and a wife.

Happy 51st Birthday Stella!
It seems just like yesterday
that we were playing hide and seek,
or peeling potatoes for the Blarney Canteen.
You were quite a ball player in those days too.
Now you've turned in the ballgames
for doing skits and teaching Sunday school.
Truly the goodness of the Lord
lives in your heart.
We love you Stella and wish you
continued blessings always.
- Love, hugs and prayers, Viola & Ivan

that trouble is just ahead,
it's better to stop supposin'
and start with a prayer instead."

Vitamin
D and Multiple Sclerosis
"In a controlled study in the 1980s,
blood samples of United States military personnel
were taken and stored," says Dr. Vieth.
"In the late 1990s a check on those samples revealed
that those with low vitamin D
when the samples were taken
were nearly four times as likely
to end up with multiple sclerosis."

Heavenly Sunset
The sun has now set
on Florie's journey here,
as she enters a new life
with God's welcome clear.
A sheep of His flock
she follows Him home
protected by Him
as one of His own.
