Our Community is saddened
by the loss of another one
of our beloved long-time residents.
Our hearts ache for the family
of Buddy (Mike) Sullivan,
yet we give thanks for the joy
he brought to our lives
over the years.
Many a home found warmth
through Texaco or Sullivan Fuels
and many a young boy
learned the skills of hockey
through Buddy's gift of coaching,
and it was truly a blessing to watch
Buddy and Claire gracefully waltz
across a dance floor.
I always thought they should have been
guests on the Don Messer show.
When Buddy smiled he lit up a room
and that smile radiated when
he spoke of his children.
Buddy, we will miss you
but I will always believe that you are
just a breath and a prayer away
so long as we hold you in our hearts.

Blessings to all our family and friends!
I have safely arrived back in Ottawa
being blessed to spend more time with
our son Ralph, daughter-in-law Jennifer
and our grandson Max, who has such a playful,
pleasant personality and fills my heart with joy.
Alberta and British Columbia are beautiful
and I truly enjoyed my time with family there.First Rate
I feel like God should be speaking
as I gaze at the mountains is awe
and majestic beauty surrounds me
lifting me closer to God.
A friend says, "Perhaps He is speaking."
and I feel a deep peace within
reflecting on nauture's beauty
while my spirit is moved by Him.
Life offers us many blessings
that we may fail to appreciate,
but I'll never forget the mountains

I am having a great visit with
Uncle Gerald (Gough), Aunt Hedy and family
in Delta (Tsawwassan), BC.
On Wednesday, May 30th
we went out touring the area here
and then we had some Japanese food for lunch.
This was a first time experience for me,
like so much of this trip has been.
Yesterday we went to Whistler.
What an amazing place!
Aunt Hedy said that it was much like
being in Switzerland or an Austrian village.
I can hardly believe that this great experience
is really happening to me.
I want you to know that I continue to keep you
and your family in my daily prayers.
I want you to know that I am with you in Spirit
as you sit at your mother's side to be with her
as she makes her eternal journey home.
