CHRISTMAS GRACE

Family are arriving home from away,
'tis fast aproaching Christmas Day.
The tree is trimmed and lights are shining
yet I find my heart is pining
for our daughter who won't be home...
Dear God be near so she won't feel alone.
Bring joy to her world through those she meets
as she works Christmas Day trying to teach
people from most anywhere
to ski down slopes without being scared.
Bless her Lord and all who see
our daughter instructing in Lake Louise.
May she feel assured our hearts are as one
on this special feast of God's own Son.
I thank You God for her faith in you
in all the trials she's going through,
for faith is a gift of Christmas grace
that no present can replace.

Merry Christmas Wanda! We love you!
(c) Viola Doncaster, Dec. 20, 1997

Our youngest daughter Wanda,
for whom the above poem was written,
moved on from Lake Louise
to work in various Management positions.
After two years as Manager of Northern
Reflections on Banff Avenue in Banff, Alberta.
Wanda become the Associate Manager
of the new GAP Store that was set up
where the Northern Reflections Store had been.
In 2004 she accepted the challenge as Associate Manager
at a GAP Store in Calgary.
Opportunity called again in early 2006
and she began a new career,
which eventually led her to
Surefire Industries in Calgary.
Congratulations Wanda! Oct. 2001.
