Just to inspire confusion, I go by the name Phil in social situations, but usually introduce myself as Phillip in response to having been called "Bill"too often.

I create computer software for a living, and have done so for over 25 years now. When I'm not doing that at my "day job" I create some more on contract...or just for my own use. I try not to let my employers know that I'd continue to write programs for free even if no one was willing to pay me.

I enjoy photography as a creative outlet. I create 3D scenes on a computer when the urge takes me. Currently my interest is tending more toward a merger of photography and computer graphics.

Cats, music, sports, and Science Fiction literature deserve their own headings....
