My short novella "Burning Day" has been selected to appear in the Hartwell/Cramer Year's Best SF #10! (Excuse me while I do a little dance on the ceiling....) The Year's Best SF is a mass-market paperback series edited by David G. Hartwell & Kathryn Cramer for Harper/Eos. "Burning Day" was originally published in the anthology Island Dreams: Montreal Writers of the Fantastic, edited by Claude Lalumiere. Here's an excerpt from the story.
