Catholic Church The Roman-Catholic Church on Pushkin Street. Standing on a bank of the Uchan-Su River, it is an elongated structure whose higher central part in western front with a rose window and perspective portal are flanked by stepped buttresses. The building was constructed in 1914 according to design of architects M. Komornitsky and N. Krasnov who used the compositional and plastic devices of West-European medieval architecture. The text above the entrance says: to Lord and blameless lady Mary is devs lady Mary is devoted
