Alupka Palace The Vorontsov Palace in Alupka is a masterpiece of romantic architecture of the mid-19th century. The Palace was built as a summer residence for Count Mikhail Vorontsov, who was Goventor-General of the Southern lands of European parts of Russia. Construction was begun in 1828 and ended in 1848. The general territory of the parks covers 40 hectares. Laid out in the landscape style with regular sections they were decorated with sculptures and fountains, designed by artist I. Kovsharov, architect W. Hunt.

The palace and the household parts of the complex are parted by a street. On a upper bridge the musicians drove on small internal balcony in a lunch hall of the palace and played for the hosts during dinner. Alupka Palace
